Access & functional needs

For people with disabilities, chronic health conditions, older adults, and caregivers: the things a generic kit misses.

Plan for

A personal support network Three or more people who will check on you and know your needs. Your Block Captain can include you in their check-ins, only if you want them to.
Power for medical equipment Oxygen, CPAP, power wheelchairs, and refrigerated medicines need a plan: backup batteries, a generator plan, and where you can charge. Ask PSE about medical-need programs.
Medications A 2-week supply where possible, a written list, and a cooler plan for refrigerated medicines.
Mobility An evacuation plan with help, and a note on the door.
Communication Plan for hearing and vision needs. Get alerts in formats that work for you, and carry a communication card.
Service animals and pets Include them in your kit and your plan.
Caregivers Have a plan for when you can't reach the person you care for, for example if the ferry or bridge is closed.

Your information stays offline. This website never asks for or stores health or needs information. Anything you choose to share with your Block Captain stays with them, on paper.
