Pets
- Pet kit: 2–3 days of food, water, medicines, a leash, and a carrier. Your 2 Weeks Ready water count includes pets.
- ID: a microchip, tags, and a current photo of you with your pet.
- Shelters may not take pets. Arrange pet-friendly places to go ahead of time.
Horses and livestock
- Keep your trailer ready and halters by the gate. Practice loading.
- Know where you could take animals if you had to leave.
- Keep 2 weeks of feed and water.
Tell your Block Captain about your pets and animals, so neighbors know who's inside if you aren't home.
